The GIS Sr. Developer - MOSS, will work closely with Sr. Applications Analyst in designing, developing, implementing and monitoring solutions built on the MOSS 2007 platform.
The development of solutions will be based primarily on core MOSS functionality, inherent workflow capabilities, integration of 3rd party tools and secondarily on custom developed applications on the MOSS platform.
- Experience with Infopath, XAML, SPD 2010, CAML, Jquery, document sets, BCS, Powershell and SPLINQ a plus.
-Knowledge of Metadata tagging standards and search indexing
-Experience with IIS Web Server (Configuration)
-Experience with Virtual Server or VM Ware a plus
-Knowledge of SSP and Central Administration Functions for MOSS 2007
- Minimum of five years of experience in SharePoint application development.
-Minimum of three years experience in developing applications on the MOSS 2007 platform using the appropriate tools (ASP, C#, WCF, SOA, XML, IIS, SQL, StSDev, StSAdm, etc.)
-Experience using Visual Studio 2008 or related IDE
-Knowledge of search indexing and development of search
-Experience with IIS Web Server
-Ability to write database queries, stored procedures and UDF
-Experience designing and deploying web-based technologies using Object-Oriented / User Control Methodologies
- Lead the design, development, customization and integration efforts of MOSS 2007 solutions involving Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms, Customer Web Parts.
-MOSS features: Workflow (both in SPD 2007 and VS 2008), Records Management, Business Data Catalog, Content Deployment, and Localization
-Experience working with business processes and developing detailed analysis of how to effectively deploy SharePoint Services throughout the enterprise environment
-Solid understanding of the MOSS security model and integration with active directory
-Background in taking 3d party applications and orchestrating technology transfers.
