Responsible for all phases of the pharmacy information system implementation and ongoing operation including planning, design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of systems, processes, and workflow.
• Analyzes current and future end user department requirements, procedures and workflow.
• Ensures that pharmacy and clinical information systems are consistent with professional and regulatory standards of clinical practice.
• Coordinates transition to live environment of assigned application and application functionalities
• Collaborates with other analysts to develop functionalities directly or indirectly related to their assigned specialties including interfaces and dependent software
• Tests, debugs and documents system modifications and upgrades
• Develop and manage appropriate applications monitoring and data validation processes for all assigned applications or application functions, (outcomes from technology, ie meeting desired goals)
• Manage and monitor appropriate third party interfaces with assigned applications
• Provides after hours on-call applications support as necessary and as assigned
• Provide appropriate levels of end user training and education as needed

Requirements
- A Master’s degree with a concentration in a healthcare technology field is preferred
- 3-5 years inpatient pharmacy experience
- Previous experience implementing one or more Cerner Millennium products or another similar electronic health information system strongly preferred
- R.Ph or Pharm.D is preferred.
- A certification in Nursing, Nursing Informatics or a related certification is preferred

We currently have a need for a Senior Application Coordinator in support of our professional billing and hospital billing software (specifically Resolute, Epic’s product for billing). As a Senior Application Coordinator you will be responsible for achieving an in-depth knowledge of the Resolute software to provide second level support to the entire revenue cycle. In addition, this role has the following responsibilities:

1)Leads or participates in small business and IT teams towards solution and implementation
2)Serves as a bridge to the end users, to our clients, business partners, and vendors
3)Serves as the primary support contact and coordinates all questions and issues that arise during the project
4)Works collaboratively with process design, interface, testing, and deployment teams, requiring significant customer focus
5)Demonstrates strong detailed analytical thinking, problem solving and results oriented skills

Basic Requirements:
1)3-5 years of recent experience with Hospital Billing or Professional Billing, ideally with Epic Resolute
2) Benefit engine and work queues are critical and required experience.
3)IT experience with maintenance of masterfiles (database managers or data directories), interfaces, and protocols
4)Application implementation and installation experience
