The IS Business Planning Managers (3 positions here) serve as an advocate for either Retail Sales Operations, Customer Service (call center) Operations, or Engineering Business Partners in the areas of strategy planning, financial planning, and support of Road maps and Quarterly Market Reports. This individual will develop and manage the portfolio of projects and services (SLAs) as required in supporting the business needs and direction.
• Provides guidance and coaching on leading within the Dynamic Organization as part of a matrixed delivery environment, leading in a way that models/promotes the values and behaviors of the DO, and grows the DO in IS
• Supports Strategic Long Range IS Business Forecasting and budgeting processes.
• As a senior leader in the IS organization, collaborates with IS Leadership to develop and implement forward-thinking improvements that advance IS’ ability to deliver more, faster and with a high degree of quality.
• Partners with I.S. project owners and project managers to provide guidance, communications, and updates to Business Partners-especially focused on change management, delivery timing, etc.
• Plays significant role in performance management, either overseeing or having significant input into performance appraisals, giving feedback and helping staff design their career development plans
• Ability to operate at an executive level. Communicates the IS strategic vision and agenda to Business Partners to ensure alignment and support.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in related discipline or equivalent experience required; Masters or MBA degree a plus.
• 10 -15 years of broad-based Information Technology experience with sophisticated, state-of-the-art systems; 3-5 years in strategic planning or relationship management
• Prior experience managing diverse interdependent cross-functional, cross-departmental projects, vendors and technologies.
