This individual will be part of a trading group working as a developer to implement high frequency black box trading strategies developed by traders. This position involves working directly with other traders and developers in the group in a highly flexible and fast-paced environment. This individual will not be trading in his/her own account. Prior exposure to trading and financial markets is not required.
Duties and Responsibilities: Implement black box strategies in C++ and deploy on LinuxSupport and maintain existing code base
Knowledge and Skills:
• C++
• Understanding of multi-threaded programming
• Experience debugging multi-threaded, concurrent applications
• Experience with performance tuning
• Ability to work within a team and work independently
• Experience with Linux preferred
• Knowledge of operating systems and network preferred
Education and Work Experience:
• BS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent
• At least three years of hands-on development experience
